Summary:

Plan, lead, execute, control and monitor supply chain activities (import planning & forecasting, warehousing, inventory expiry management, distribution, invoicing, etc.) with the objective of maximizing operations efficiency, minimizing cost logistics and inventory losses, while driving product quality. Closely coordinate with internal stakeholders to match supply with demand while ensuring optimal stock levels, reduced lead time and expiries, and measuring performance against pre-agreed KPIs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities : include the following (other duties may be assigned)

Supply Chain

· 
Order Management

· 
Coordinates with other departments to integrate logistics with the business systems or processes, such as customer sales order management, accounting and shipping

· 
Addresses customer concerns related to transportation, logistics systems

· 
Ensures completeness and accuracy of orders booked and coordinates until full delivery of instruments and reagents to customers

· 
Inventory Management

· 
Monitor submission of forecast to RDI and other related suppliers in coordination with the Business Unit heads to ensure product availability and when needed

· 
Oversee timely submission of purchase orders to suppliers for both Global and local monitoring of shipments, and submit temperature monitoring report for import items

· 
Monitors regular review of inventory on hand including expiry dates for submission to BU for proper allocation and disposition to minimize inventory write offs

· 
Coordinate with distributor on the monthly inventory count and reconciliation, provide report to accounting for proper accounting treatment

· 
Monitors timely recording of inventory transactions such as invoicing, goods receipt, goods issue, transfer posting and adjustments

· 
Maintain proper monitoring of records for all transactions related to the inventory movements of instruments, reagents and spare parts

· 
Lead reconciliation of commercials and spare parts stock and ensure numbers in ERP system is updated completely and accurately

· 
Sales Return management

· 
Distributor / 3rd Part Logistics / Forward Management

· 
Negotiate with the forwarders on transport rates and services in accordance with supply chain guidelines

· 
Analyze financial impact on the cost effectiveness or efficient means of transporting products to customer in compliance with Roche guidelines

· 
Closely coordinate with 3rd party logistics on inventory movement, instrument transfers, and other related activities

· 
Stakeholder Management

Supplier relationship management

Other Tasks

· 
Preparation, revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures to enhance or improve supply chain processes in accordance with Roche supply chain standards

· 
Promote awareness and participation to Security, Safety, Health and Environmental Protection policies and programs at site to create a safe work environment to all employees.

Quality / Regulatory Responsibilities

· 
Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and perform activities following global Roche quality standards and local SOPs.

Education and/or Experience

· 
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain

· 
Minimum seven (7) years inSupply Chain Management, with minimum 3 years experience in successfully leading and managing teams

· 
Good knowledge or hands-on experience of ERP, preferably SAP

· 
Demand Planning & Forecasting

· 
Interaction with 3PL and suppliers

Language Skills

· 
Proficient in English (spoken & written)
