As a key finance function under Global Product Development Product Development Medical Affairs (PDMA) Finance business partnering team supports all units across PDMA. We provide decision-relevant, future-looking financial information to our PDMA leaders and navigate the path to new heights of business performance, leading with our partners in crafting and executing value enhancing decisions, while ensuring financial peace.

As an intern in your main tasks will include:

·  Actively participating in Global Product Strategy (GPS)/PDMA monthly close and forecasting activities
·  Acting as super-user for GPS/PDMA financial systems
·  Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the monthly accrual process and the global congress process
·  Supporting PDMA Finance Head in all forecasting cycles in close collaboration and communication with business functions
·  Supporting ad-hoc project requests from PDMA Finance team

You are an enrolled student in Business and Economics science or related fields and have strong analytical skills and a vivid interest in Finance.

Moreover you are:

·  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (PowerPivot is a plus)
·  Independent, proactive, open-minded attitude
·  Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate amongst different levels of the organization
·  Able to work with tight timelines and under pressure as well as structured thinking and results driven attitude
·  Fluent in English

The preferred start date of the internship is March 2017 for 6-12 months.
