Summary:

Accountable for setting the direction for Maintenance including shift alignment and metrics. Drive maintenance excellence through implementation and sustainability of Planned, Preventative & Predictive Maintenance measures including spare parts inventory control. Develop and direct the current supervisors/team leads to maximize organizational effectiveness and ensure long term sustainability. Work with management to ensure alignment of maintenance with DC Manufacturing and/or Facilities Stakeholders.

Devotes a significant amount of time to leading and managing employees. Oversees the day-to-day operations for assigned work group or team. Provides feedback to the manager on employees' work performance and has input into employment decisions. Occasionally does the work of those supervised. Responsible for managing to a prescribed budget, training and development of staff, resource management, work assignments, interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies.

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

·  Maintenance Management: Responsible for over-all Maintenance performance and alignment with Stakeholder goals. Work with Maintenance Supervisors/team leads to ensure shift-to-shift alignment and provide leadership to ensure budget & performance requirements are being met
·  Develop KPI’s and monitoring methods to ensure optimal Maintenance performance as well as real time data availability for Maintenance Technicians
·  Responsible for Maintenance budget and over-all performance
·  Works with Leadership and Support functions to manage completion of project deliverables to ensure stated objectives, timelines and budget requirements are achieved. (Consider: customer/production/product impact, validation support, training and safety). Manage up as necessary.
·  Work with Stakeholder Leadership to understand requirements. Ensure Maintenance support is adequate & available to meet customer needs
·  Understand and measure Technician’s individual performance and any gaps that might exist. Strengthen training procedures to ensure Maintenance Technicians are properly & adequately trained.
·  Develop strategic path to migrate from Reactive Maintenance to Planned/Preventative/Predictive Maintenance and ensure sustainability
·  Direct ownership of Risk Assessment Process for Utility Equipment
·  Direct ownership of Lockout/Tagout Program
·  Identify and direct operational excellence projects to reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase reliability.
·  Direct ownership of Campus Building Management System including documentation, alarm response and change control.
·  Develop strategic path for spare parts process and inventory control to assure proper inventory levels to meet maintenance requirements on time while maintaining budget goals.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline such as science or engineering plus 3 years related experience in an operations or manufacturing environment or Associate degree, Technical Certification in Facilities Related Field or Military Training plus 10 years related experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
·  Minimum of 2 years direct supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience.
·  Project Management skills
·  Experience in a regulated environment
·  Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, decision making and leadership skills.
·  Demonstrated knowledge in critical maintenance assessments including failure and risk analysis

Preferred Experience:

·  Demonstrated knowledge in Reliability Centered Maintenance
·  Demonstrated SAP knowledge
