Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Specialist your main responsibilities will be:

·  performing Purchasing Activities
·  ensuring that Purchasing Activities are followed within the Company
·  reviewing and updating Purchasing Related Policies
·  providing project Support
·  following category strategies reflecting internal business requirements and external market factors that are aligned with the overall business strategies
·  tracking market conditions and price trends
·  arranging procurement activities for the dedicated categories
·  implementing changes to improve buying or procurement procedures
·  reviewing purchase requisitions for accuracy, compliance and completeness
·  developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure best service, commercial terms, quality and compliance
·  tracking, monitoring and measuring key performance indicators to support global objectives
·  arranging Supplier Relationship Management
·  setting up local Procurement metrics, dashboards to support efficiency
·  preparing and maintaining purchasing related SOPs
·  Train Corporate Function representatives authorized to initiate purchase requisitions

Qualifications

·  Economic background
·  1- 3 years procurement experience in indirect products and services
·  fluency in English
·  strong organizational skills - with ability to prioritize and work effectively with multiple tasks
·  proactive and flexible mindset
·  judgment and decision making - considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
·  negotiation skills - bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
·  critical Thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
