In your role as Medical Science Liaison, You will report to IDT Medical Lead and your main responsibilities are:

·  Interact with HCPs to understand their views, preferences and interests, in the assigned therapeutic area, and where Roche can partner with them to meet their needs where aligned with our strategies in the pre-launch and post-launch phase
·  Gather insights from HCPs during the pre- and post-launch phases and communicate it to Medical Lead and other members of the IDTs
·  Carry out Medical educational events according to the IDTs’ needs
·  Serve as the scientific bridge and point of contact with the investigator for ISTs, and support Roche sponsored study planning and execution including enhancing the site’s performance and quality
·  Understand and act in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche), Code of Conduct and any other directives, SOPs and guidelines
·  Inform Local Safety Responsible of safety issues according to Roche safety SOPs; and provide scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues
·  Deliver scientifically accurate, objective, current and consistent responses to unsolicited product inquiries.
·  Identify, collect and report any AE and/or other reportable event and forward to drug safety department within timelines described in relevant SOPs
·  Identify and report any product quality complaint and forwarding to local complaint manager within timelines described in relevant SOPs

You have Medical University Degree or Pharmaceutical Master. Further qualification, experience, skills and competencies are:

·  Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry, especially within Medical Affairs Department is advanced.
·  Relationships with external TAEs, other thought leaders, and external organizations is strongly preferred.
·  Basic understand scientific knowledge in respected therapeutic area/diseases
·  Experience working in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry preferred
·  Deep understanding of healthcare landscape, political, societal, technological dynamics and trends that may have an impact to Roche business and product positioning.
·  Strong analytical skills to translate data and market trends into strategic opportunities.
·  Experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical relevance for the purpose of understanding and communicating clinical study results
