As the RCP for Hemophilia, you thrive for an intimate understanding of the Hemophilia ecosystem, the needs & customer behaviors in Portugal. You'll act as the in-field customer-facing medical point of contact and as the connector with Roche's internal capabilities, and ultimately drive for co-creation within the Haemophilia Eco-system to achieve personalized & fit-for purpose solutions.

To be successful, you'll closely collaborate with the disease area product manager, to exchange insights and analyze the Hemophilia ecosystem. Your knowledge of the competitive landscape will impact Roche strategy and ultimately, people living with Hemophilia.

Your primary responsibilities are:

·  Build a strong understanding of the Haemophilia ecosystem.
·  Support the development & shaping of the disease area medical strategy, continuously adjusting the medical components & leveraging customer generated insights/needs.
·  Create and be accountable for a highly impactful strategic and tactical plan.
·  Be the decision maker in the field, aiming for a superior customer experience.
·  Be the medical main point of contact and real working partner for TAEs/KOLs.
·  Be accountable for the scientific exchange & insights generation, enabling better decision making.
·  Purposefully look for and create solutions and projects with customers, to improve access and health outcomes.
·  Deliver care support around patient journey and bring in the patients' voice and the clinical perspective.
·  Leverage and explore digital solutions to impact the advancement of healthcare in Portugal.
·  Medical budget ownership.
·  To be successful you are likely to spend around 50% of your time in the field.

This position sits in the Medical Direction and reports to a Medical Affairs Lead.

Desired profile

Who You Are

You are passionate, collaborative, with a growth mindset and you aim for an innovative organization that puts the customer at the center and has a positive impact on healthcare and patients' lives. For this position, you bring the following:

·  Strong experience in the area of Rare Diseases, ideally in Hemophilia, as a healthcare professional (M.D. or PharmD), researcher or in the Pharmaceutical Industry as an MSL, Medical Advisor or equivalent role (preferred).
·  Preferably with a PhD or advanced studies in this therapeutic area.
·  Experience in establishing and maintaining scientific collaboration relationships with TAEs and other HCPs.
·  Experience of partnership with Patient Advocacy Groups.
·  Strategic thinking: generates customer value based insights and contributes to a robust value proposition.
·  An entrepreneurial mindset being able to act fast, learn quickly, and grow to take on new challenges.
·  Mobilizer & influencer, who can build and maintain an open and transparent communication with key stakeholders.
·  Deep knowledge of the Portuguese Healthcare System is required.
·  Aware of the ongoing digital transformation in healthcare.
·  Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
