To strengthen the Basel/Kaiseraugst Total Rewards team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Compensation Partner. We are a highly recognized centre of expertise and provide value-adding solutions in the area of compensation and benefits management to support Roche's strategic goal of being an employer of choice and a great place to work.

Your overall objective is to act as a sparring partner to HR Business Partners and recruiters for all Swiss compensation topics with a focus on supporting the Pharma Early Research and Development (pRED) and Roche Partnering organizations on key talent priorities – attract, retain & engage.

Your main responsibilities include:

·  You consult on Total Rewards principles & processes, bring to bear & optimize existing practices
·  You act as ambassador for the function you represent, liaise with various partners to deliver innovative compensation solutions that fit the business
·  You help to prepare, coordinate and execute the annual compensation review as well as off-cycle compensation needs
·  You provide support to recruiters and HR Business Partners with offers for new hires and promotions
·  You provide regular internal analytics on compensation practices at individual or aggregate level; conduct market reviews to evaluate competitiveness at industry and country level
·  You design & deliver compensation training for HR professionals & line management
·  You lead & participate in total rewards projects, especially the implementation of the Global Grading Project
·  You support the Global Lead Compensation Partner with global initiatives and analytics

Who you are

You hold a university degree or equivalent and have 8 years or more of experience in HR, ideally and with a sound experience in compensation.

In addition, the following skills and competencies are required:

·  You have strong communication & influencing skills for stakeholder management and good team working skills.
·  Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry would be a plus
·  Furthermore, you possess the following competencies:
·  Analytic thinking, curiosity, the ability to think out of the box and find innovative solutions
·  Dedicated, pragmatic and result-oriented approach and the ability to deal with ambiguity and to work with a high degree of autonomy
·  Fluent in English both written and spoken; German is a big plus
