  Job facts

Purpose

a) To be the main contact in the Global IT Infrastructure Services department for application projects.
b) To be responsible for the seamless integration of business applications into the infrastructure landscape by coordinating and facilitating the collaboration between all infrastructure groups.
c) To be ultimately responsible for the infrastructure delivery of related IT components by controlling the scope, risks and issues of infrastructure services and providing timely status reports to the application project manager.
d) To support the Account Management Team on an operational level, creating partnerships by fostering and improving the collaboration across application and infrastructure teams.

Key activities and deliverables

a) Provide consultancy on complex infrastructure requests.
b) Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results consistent with organization objectives.
c) Manage complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, including inter-organizational impact.
d) Exercise independent judgment and discretion in supporting infrastructure and application teams.
e) Lead application taskforces where special coordination and facilitation between cross functional teams is needed.
f) Promote active partnering between internal and external stakeholders to align and address the needs and manage actively commitments.

Job skills required

a) Able to actively listen to all stakeholders to properly understand their needs and convey them to others using simple words adapted for the audience.
b) Able to see trends, analyse requirements and use creative thinking to propose efficient solutions and improvement activities.

c) Able to structure complex activities with multiple tasks while keeping the focus on
the goal.
d) Use strong coordination and facilitation skills to enable team spirit in virtual teams and promote win-win situations.
e) Build trustworthy relations with your stakeholders quickly because of your commitment, proactivity, flexibility and IT infrastructure knowhow.
f) Be confident representing the Global IT Infrastructure Services department in front of any application team.

Qualifications and experience required

a) 8-11 years of relevant work experience in enterprise or global IT organizations. or 6-9 years with Bachelor's degree or 3-6 years with Master's degree.
b) 4+ years of leadership experience as a project manager or as a manager in multinational environments.
c) Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence technical and non-technical
stakeholders across all aspects of infrastructure service
