Purpose

·  The IT site administrator is accountable for co-leading a team of IT specialists to provide IT operations/services for the local site aligned with Business objectives and Informatics imperatives.
·  The IT Site administrator is the primary partner to the local business leadership team and will also act as a senior subject matter expert in developing technology plans, delivery, manage and maintain IT infrastructure, Applications & Data systems and services to fulfill IT requirements of the local site.
·  Collaboration with Cluster, Regional and Global peers will be required to deliver IT projects and services locally. The incumbent will align the Local site with regional and global technology architecture/platform and project portfolio. It is also expected to be innovative and promote effective reuse of existing systems from Cluster/Regional solutions on site.

Key Activities / Deliverables

Local Team

·  Provide coordination to the specialists in the Local IT Team which are aligned with the site objectives and vision. Drive key strategic informatics imperatives and managing to deliver the high level end result.
·  Collaborate with regional IT peers to deliver Cluster and/or regional solutions that are aligned with global architecture standards and promotes innovation and reuse

End User Support

·  The primary objective is to ensure a high level of end-user satisfaction through timely and quality user support.
·  Maintain & support client hardware and software environment in compliance with Local, Regional and Global standards, strategic policies, guidelines, procedures for ensuring the continuity of business activities.
·  Work with the GIS IT SSC SD function and lead local IT user support team to provide timely feedback to the users and resolve issues in a timely manner
·  Conduct end user training accordingly business requirements and/or strategic assistance for productivity and efficiency of computing work.

Application & Data Service

·  Develop, maintain and improve existing and new local application systems, tools and Inter & Intranet environment to meet local business needs with a relentless customer satisfaction focus.
·  Deliver for affiliate business functions and site users with applications from Cluster, Regional & Global application portfolio and develop and deploy/operate solutions as required.
·  Provide application and data administration and development, including performing requirements analysis, writing specifications, and maintaining documentation.
·  Contribute to the development of a strong application and data service team that is well informed, develops the skills and experience of each other, and adopts processes to continually improve team skills, processes and technology.

IT Infrastructure Services

·  Maintain and improve Local Area Network, Wide Area Network and all network equipment and make sure those are in line with the desirable performance level that all system and application performance are sufficiently competitive and suited to user's purpose in the local SSC business environment.

Site Project Management

·  Perform senior level project management for Local, Regional and Global IT projects delivering on time and within the approved budget .
·  All project management activities are to follow Roche Informatics PMM and processes,

Planning & Proposal

·  Support IT hardware and software lifecycle planning, procurement for improving the efficiency of local system usage so that the system, applications and tools properly meet the business requirement and purpose.

Main Partners & Customers

·  Business unit heads and Leadership teams and possibly cluster business unit heads.
·  External business partners collaborating with local site and possibly cluster
·  Primary customer base will be the Local End Users

Main collaborations within Pharma

·  Cluster and/or local IT teams.
·  IT APAC (App & Data & User Services, PMO and etc.)
·  IT GIS, Global Architecture & Engineering, Shared Platforms & Applications, IT Global Services – service demand & supply management and deployment planning, IT Shared CommOps & GPS, IT PD/PT/PP – service demand management and deployment planning.
·  Diagnostic & Group IT for related IT service provisioning.

·  Sound knowledge of IT (Network, application, end-user support, project management) and application management.
·  Minimum bachelor's degree in IT related field.
·  3 - 5 years of IT management experience in business customer facing role.
·  3 – 5 years application/data system experience with proven track record of running high performing application and data system environments.
·  5 years experience providing end user support with a proven track record of meeting customer expectations, providing excellent customer service, and delivering quality and timely resolutions to support incidents and problems.
·  Experience in delivering IT Project within approved budget.
