Job Responsibilities:

As an IT Expert – Digital you are responsible for designing and providing solutions based on the APAC digital platform in close cooperation with the business representatives and other IT specialists. You cooperate with internal partners in scope of presenting and discussing the progress of project/service works and technological consulting. Your tasks include interpreting business cases, preparing specifications and analysis technical requirements, designing solutions and creating technical documentation, estimating individual scope and time-consumption of works. You also coordinate activities related to the implementation and testing of the solutions.

Based on your previous experience you may take the role of a project leader or lead a technical team, in terms of expertise, in scope of software engineering/quality assurance/validation tasks.

You have an opportunity to develop your knowledge in scope of best practices and standards of creating software at Roche and spreading the knowledge throughout the organization by educating and supporting less experienced Specialists. You are also accountable for co-creating Roche IT standards and setting technological development directions for the organization in collaboration with other Experts. You are supposed to actively initiate and conduct innovation projects with a view to optimizing processes and introducing new solutions.

Qualification and Experience required:

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree (Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Mathematical, Information Systems or other) or equivalent work experience;
·  Minimum 8 years of experience in work related to software development and Business Process Management;
·  You have at least 5 years of experience in IT environment with focus on Digital Solutions.
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in work related to CQ/AEM development.
·  Experience in AEM incl. all or most of: Sling Models, Apache Sling, JCR, (nice to have), Sling Authentication, AEM Workflows, VLT, Permission model (ACL, CUG, user, groups), JCR-SQL2, OAK Indexing basics.
·  SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory -
·  Minimum 5 years of experience in work related to Java development.
·  Experience in general software development incl. many of: OSGi (Apache Felix/Karaf), Java, JavaEE (Servlet, Filter, JSP), Groovy (nice to have), Git, JUnit, Maven, REST, Object Oriented Design Patterns, Basic HTML + JavaScript, Apache/Dispatcher, General Network Security.
·  Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions, strong problem solving, teamwork and organizational skills.
·  Ability to interact, communicate effectively and develop relationship with Business, Informatics Partners and IT specialist, demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
·  Proficiency in English, experience in a multinational environment.
