The Position

Product Development Medical Affairs (PDMA) Communications is a Business Partner supporting PDMA. As an Intern in PDMA Communications, you will be part of internal branding and communications projects. You will be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and make your contribution in an international and multicultural environment.

You, as a Communications Intern will be assisting in creating engaging and high-quality content delivered across our internal Group channels. You will support in informing and educating target employees in an objective, credible and insightful way to understand PDMA strategy and priorities. Working closely together with key business partners (e.g. functional teams, country Medical Affairs (MA)), you will help manage PDMA's internal newsflow and support different online channels and events. In addition, the internship entails the following key responsibilities:

·  Assist in planning, developing, writing and editing content for internal Group channels (RocheNet, PDLive, PD News App, G+ Community, myRoche, etc.) based on PDMA group content and publishing strategy as well as Medical Affairs editorial calendar
·  Help manage PDMA's newsflow (content, editing, publishing) on RocheNet/News app/e-Newsletters in collaboration with the Communications Manager and the country MA representatives
·  Further develop the way we produce and promote content – from new online formats, e.g. videos and podcasts, to infographics, etc
·  Assist in the organization and support of internal events and activities (functional town halls, informal coffee corners, awards ceremonies)
·  Support in administrative tasks, collaborate with the cross-functional teams and affiliates contacts on all potential news and updates to share with the wider audience via the e-newsletters
·  Support in various projects and campaigns

You are currently enrolled as a student in Communications, Digital Communications, Marketing, or New/Digital Media

Furthermore and to be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

·  Excellent writing, editing and communications skills
·  Hands-on experience with Social Media and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Sharepoint preferred
·  Proactive team player with a pronounced service and solution orientation and ability to communicate at all levels
·  Very good interpersonal and networking skills, very good project management skills, ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
·  Detail-oriented, organized and creative with multi-tasking and prioritization skills
·  Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German is a plus
