As an Account Specialist and member of a dynamic inside sales team, you will be accountable for maintaining and growing revenue for Roche Sequencing/Life Science targeted accounts and focus products. This will be accomplished by direct and indirect customer contact within new and existing accounts through coordinated electronic campaigns with Sales and/or Marketing. You will be working independently and in collaboration with field-based team members to positively impact short and long-term business objectives and the achievement of regional sales goals. Continuously interact with field-based sales counterparts to uncover and close Focus Reagent and Instrument opportunities, as well as with other departments across the organization to drive timely resolution to customer issues.

You will also be:

·  Contacting decision makers and closing sales.
·  Negotiating and implementing long-term contracts and standing orders to build competitive immunity.
·  Selling the value of Roche Sequencing/Life Science products, services and support and presenting companion products.
·  Effectively and comprehensively executing Sales Management and Marketing Tactics.
·  Utilizing, including data entry, for managing the sales process, customer contact database and communicate leads and opportunities.
·  Utilizing of electronic tools including but not limited to SAP, Tableau and electronic invoices to monitor sales performance and identify customer contact opportunities.
·  Complete sales, quotes and contracts (including renewals) in a timely fashion

This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

You will also have:

·  Completed a college degree preferably in Life Science or related field.
·  Have previous customer service experience.
·  Have 2-plus years experience in sales, telemarketing, technical or related experience.
·  Have aptitude for negotiating and persuading.
·  Demonstrate clear and effective speaking and writing skills.
·  Demonstrate ability and willingness to take ownership of individual and team goals and persist despite obstacles and opposition.
·  Have basic knowledge of computers, experience with software such as SAP, Excel, Outlook, etc. is required.
