Business Analyst Software / Product Owner

Roche Diagnostics' platform team is developing software kits for our diagnostic instruments software projects. Our engineers provide a common user interface, basic instrument functionality, components and configurations for standardized device access.

Some of our components are developed with the help of external partners.

To grow our team, we are looking to hire a Senior Software Requirements Engineer who could in addition act as a Product Owner of such packages.

Your main responsibilities will consist in:

·  Based on the product requirements, define and document the software requirements of the platform software project.
·  Structure the software requirements into levels of different granularity down to the granularity that allows the software requirements to be implemented by software development.
·  Take the product ownership of the outsourced package, steer and accompany the development team of the external partner
·  Cooperate with the project roadmap team, architects, software engineers and all the stakeholders of the internal instrument software project

To be successful in this role, you need to bring:

·  A university degree in IT or Engineering
·  Several years of experience within SW Requirement Engineering
·  Some years of experience in collaboration with external development partners
·  Experience within the Diagnostics industry is a strong asset
·  Strong communication and facilitation skills
·  An agile mindset: being flexible and dealing with ambiguity
·  Fluent English. German is a plus.​
