As part of the newly created EMEA IT solution support center, the position Business Intelligence Solution and Data Analyst will hold accountability and responsibility for conception and analytical services in the domain of business data in a modern data warehouse and reporting environment.
BI Data Analyst will be driving innovative and scalable modern analytical and reporting solutions in close alignment with the functional business customers, the IT architect, as well as covering the solution's lifecycle management. The prime focus is to make sure that any chosen analytical solution fulfills known and understood business requirements, fitting into the IT roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:
·  Define solution scope and requirements for analytical and reporting solutions as well as define and support the data layers and data structures of global, regional, and local solutions in a global integrated data warehouse
·  Analyse data and information flows, trends and patterns; define data loading strategies and principles, data quality and data cleansing management methods and components also define data extraction, access schemes, components and API
·  Design data visualisation, reports and dashboard in collaboration with the regional BI lead analyst and the local business analysts
·  Collaboration with local and regional IT business partners, project and operations managers with respect to analytical support and services, especially reviewing business cases, creating
·  Support business intelligence innovation initiatives and knowledge sharing across the region and hubs/clusters

Requirements:
We are looking for a person with good communication and collaboration skills, strong data analytics, visualization and modeling skills as well as basic scripting and statistical knowledge. A perfect candidate has ability to communicate data and business intelligence issue clearly and is experienced in working with global and regional project and virtual expert teams. It is also important to meetthe following requirements:
·  Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent as a minimum; relevant postgraduate degree desirable
·  3+ years of experience working in IT environment. Experience of pharmaceutical / life sciences industry desirable.
·  Proven track record in data and business intelligence solutions, data warehousing, reporting, or other analytical methods.
·  Good knowledge of BI technologies across vertical Roche standards (Oracle/SQL databases, Business Objects, Tableau, Informatica etc).
·  Proficiency in data loading and data extraction and data querying technologies, semantic and textual analytics
·  Fluent English (oral and written) is essential
