Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities

1. Competent handling of enquiries received from health professionals, Roche employees and consumers
1) Provide accurate, timely information to response enquiries from internal and external customers through using labelling, standard responses and retrieving in databases.
2) Develop enquiry analysis report quarterly, and submit customized enquiry analysis report per request from other function
3) Detect and report adverse events to local Drug Safety Responsible within defined timeframes; Detect and report product complaints within defined timeframes
4) Developing Medical Information local standard responses of frequent asked questions
5) Train junior members to get familiar with databases and methods of enquiries handling
6) Participate in the Quality Check (QC) of all information in enquiry as per MI minimum standards business processes
2. Coordinate the cooperation with other department, ie. Marketing, Sales and internal medical
1) Be knowledgeable in the specific disease area and drugs development and good understanding of brands
2) Literature updates on products and therapeutic areas with balanced and objective principle
3) Generate academic meeting reports on products and therapeutic areas with balanced and objective principle
4) Optimize and streamline the content selection criteria for different TA.
5) Contribute on medical booth based on aligned requirement
6) Give input from perspective of medical information in cross-functional activity.
7) Explore customer's needs using existing channel
8) Provide MI training included but not limited to literature retrieval skills to internal colleagues and HCPs through NEO, BU Cycle, medical education programs, etc.
3. Contribute to improving Medical Information (MI) team effectiveness and team development
1) Contribute to developing Medical Information function related standard procedures so as to ensure qualified, customer focused medical information service.
2) Contribute to medical information projects execution
3) Assist in medical information team competency model development
4) Assist in setting up and maintaining Medical Information database in line with Roche policy as well as local laws and regulations.

Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in pharmacy or health care and up with 3 years' working experience in medical information retrieval related work in pharmaceuticals industry;
OR Master Degree in pharmacy or health care and 2 years' working experience in medical information retrieval related experience in pharmaceuticals industry;
OR PhD in pharmacy or healthcare and 1 years' experience in medical information retrieval or related experience in pharmaceuticals industry;
OR overseas PhD in pharmacy or healthcare.

Job Required Competencies
Basic understanding of business, commercialization and Marketing
Experience in searching medical literature databases
Good communication and information management skill
Customer focus, responds quickly and fast implementation.
Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English
Computer skill: good PC Skill
