To deliver complex, strategic programmes, projects or services of global reach through managing the work of dispersed teams.

Key activities and deliverables

·  Ensure the implementation of SAP projects and services as per specifications (budget, time, quality standards, functional requirements and corporate rules).
·  Manage dispersed SAP project and service teams in a matrix structure
·  Build, maintain and manage relations with Business Partners.
·  Identify Business Partner requirements concerning SAP application and service development, consult and propose solutions and be accountable for their delivery.
·  Manage cooperation with external vendors of SAP services and solutions, ensure appropriate resources are available of and engage them.
·  Support innovation of in scope SAP processes and technologies and identify opportunities to reuse existing solutions.
·  Propose and supervise the implementation of improvements with a view to improving cost and resource efficiency and optimising existing services and project processes.
·  Actively participate in knowledge sharing activities in RGITSC such as conducting internal training, knowledge sharing within projects and services and active participation in Community of Practice.
·  Performing tasks entrusted by the superior.

Autonomy in Decision Making

·  Organising the project team work (assigning people, processes, etc.).
·  Project team structure.
·  Project/service risk management.
·  Change of service/project team members (escalations to vendors).
·  Rules of cooperation with business partners within projects and services.
·  Managing the project and service allocated budget.

Job skills required

·  Leadership skills.
·  Communication skills and skills to cooperate with persons at different organisation levels.
·  Influencing, persuasion and negotiations skills (with different organisation levels).
·  Skills to envisage possible problems, determine and implement solutions.
·  Readiness to travel depending on project/service needs (approx. 20% of work time)
·  Readiness to work outside standard working hours in the case of cooperation with teams in other time zones.

Qualifications and experience required

Must have

·  Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Project implementation.
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating project teams and managing local and global IT projects in a multicultural, international environment.
·  Experience in working with virtual/dispersed project/service teams.
·  Basic knowledge of project/programme management methods (e.g. PMM (PMI), CSV, GxP).
·  Knowledge of good practices in the IT service delivery market, such as ITIL.
·  Knowledge of agile methodologies (Agile: Scrum, Kanban).
·  Knowledge of HP SM and Jira tools.

Good to have

·  Domain knowledge in the business or technical areas in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
·  Certificate confirming knowledge of project and programme management methods (e.g. PMM (PMI), CSV, GxP).
