Performs a wide variety of reagent dispenser and/or bottle assembly and/or fill related operations. Operates equipment used to manufacture and test medical device products. Performs in-process tests (fill weight) to ensure that products meet specifications. Recognizes equipment and product problems and notifies appropriate individuals to achieve optimum production levels. Performs repetitive assembly of the company's products into complete packages. Maintains all production related documentation in compliance with Ventana's Quality System Regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·  Assemble Reagent Dispenser and/or bottle assembly and/or fill/kit related operations per production drawing and documents while maintaining accurate manual and electronic records.
·  Adhere to manufacturing schedule in order to meet deadlines while sustaining quality, cost, delivery, and safety metrics.
·  Operate semi-automated systems/equipment.
·  Conduct line clearance/closure activities.
·  Participate in inventory parts management.
·  Assist in the troubleshooting of machine and/or process related issues.
·  Work independently of supervision and provide guidance to others.
·  Specific assembly job function may change based on functional team assignment.
·  Perform other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Training/Education:

·  High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

·  2 years related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·  Ability to complete moderately difficult tasks.
·  Written and verbal comprehension of the English language.
·  Ability to interpret and understand production documents and drawings to complete tasks.
·  Must have working knowledge of standard computer programs.
·  Basic mathematical comprehension (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.)
·  Work within a team environment in a culture of accountability and professionalism.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:

·  The working environment is indoors and is seasonally heated and cooled with controlled noise levels. The position requires considerable standing and/or sitting, repetitive movement, and the ability to lift objects less than 25 pounds. Some job functions will require the use of a pallet jack to convey material. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to hazardous materials requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to safety guidelines.
