What does the Agile Coach role mean at Roche Hungary?

Your role is to cultivate an agile workplace culture, proper implementation and development of agile methodology, including providing training on agile tools, methodologies and mindset.

Also, you are going to facilitate agile principles' onboarding and ongoing coaching when our new ways of working are implemented.

Purpose of the Agile coach role:

·  Enabling the development and sustainability of communities of practices, foster collaboration and networking among groups of the organization
·  Focusing on coaching and developing Leadership Team, Squad Value Owners (POs) and Squads regarding agile leadership and agile way of working
·  Occasionally acting as a Scrum Master for a Squad and facilitate, moderate during Sprints
·  Developing and evolve toolkit of Agile methodologies and create interfaces if required
·  Developing internal Scrum Masters
·  Being Active member of the Roche global Agile community
·  Key driver of further agile rollout (e.g. support Partner functions in deploying agile tools and improving processes)
·  Enabling, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams in agile methodologies (design thinking, scrum, hackathon, etc.)

When needed:

·  Facilitating above-country sprints and within affiliates
·  Providing agile cooperation training for leaders and team members
·  Driving scrum excellence & community, including local scrum masters

We envision someone who has the following character and experience:

·  Approachable, passionate about work and being part of our organization
·  Specialized, in-depth knowledge of agile methodology (Certified Scrum Master with multiple years of experience) and familiar with other commonly-used agile methodologies, Design Thinking and/or LEAN methodology
·  Demonstrated ability to get results quickly through strong coaching, mentoring and inspirational environment setting
·  Experience in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, communication, mentoring
·  Excellent team-working, collaboration and networking skills
·  Ability to connect ideas, people and initiatives across diverse functions, geographies and disciplines
·  Project management experience
·  Experience driving organizational readiness, and professional learning & development methodologies

Professional expertise:

Real evidence of agile experience is essential – we know everyone deals with agile nowadays.

·  1+ years in Agile as an Agile Coach (or similar role), strong skills and experience in leading transformation for agile organizations (end-to-end responsibility)
·  Proven skills of coaching Squads in Agile practices and enforcing Agile practices
·  Scrum Master, Product Owner certification (or equivalent) is preferred
·  Coaching certification is preferred
·  Handle reporting tasks and collaborate with the global community: HR Chapters, SSC, and COEs
