Purpose:

 

Richemont has business support functions in each Market around the world. Functions bring to our Maisons all the expertise, competences and tools they need to grow their brand equity and focus on design creation, sales and marketing. Working as business partners with the Maisons, they foster capturing of synergies and sharing of best practices, while respecting the specificities of each Maison.

Richemont Europe is composed of 15 markets in charge of the operations and the distribution of our Maisons products for Europe, Russia and Latin America. The General Ledger Accountant is part of the Richemont Europe Finance team and reports to the Head of Accounting & ICS.

Then, you must be the right candidate to join our Accounting & Internal Control team as General Ledger Accountant within the Region!

 

You will be successful in the role by:

 

·  Acting as the local Finance business partner to Maisons to comment on, challenge and explain financial performance and providing them support in order to facilitate appropriate decision making
·  Leading the wholesale closing process for our prestigious Maisons in collaboration with local commercial teams and Headquarters and following-up on deviations vs plan.
·  Participating to the monthly closing activities in collaboration with the controlling team by reviewing accounting entries assumptions, dealing with blocking situations
·  Review and challenge indirect cost structure actuals vs budget
·  Partnering with other teams to address areas of improvement for processes and systems, including HR, Logistics, IT and the executive committees of Maisons
·  Participating in specific Region projects by providing data collection/analysis and reports/ presentations using Business Intelligence tools

Your competencies  

 

·  You have a strong accounting, business process, and tax background
·  You have 3 to 5 years of work experience in an international environment
·  You have a strong acumen for IT tools such as SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools
·  You are dedicated, flexible, autonomous and open to travel occasionally
·  You have a high mental agility, strong analytical skills and an interest on finance & controlling
·  You speak fluent English and have a good knowledge of French; German is a plus
