MAIN PURPOSE

Strategic HR business partner integrated in the local EXCO, overseeing employees and leaders across Switzerland local business office and boutiques.

The HR Business partner will be a driving force in building and implementing the HR Strategy for office and boutique team in line with the Cartier Maison and region business plans.

 

This role is critical in leading our people initiatives and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement for the business in Switzerland. The HRBP will be a critical partner to the business and be a key partner in reaching the commercial ambitions of the market and embedding a talent-oriented agenda that meets the long-term needs of the organization.

 

This position will be based i n Geneva and frequent travels within Switzerland are required to visit regularly teams in the boutiques.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Recruitment

·  Implement strategic recruitment practices for the Swiss Market, in alignment with Cartier strategies.
·  Develop and promote in collaboration with the HQ a strong employer brand value proposition in the market.
·  Partner with Hiring Managers in attracting, recruiting and hiring candidates whose talent, competencies and experience supports the business needs and evolution of the skills & competencies required.
·  Strategize and implement solutions to support employee attraction and retention; regularly monitor open position reports and analyze turnover for benchmarking purposes.
·  Coach Hiring Managers on all aspects of Cartier’s recruitment, interviewing and onboarding processes.

 

Performance Management

·  Providing coaching and guidance to ensure managers can proactively manage performance issues to mitigate risk to the business and ensure that employees are given consistent feedback on their performance
·  Strategize and implement programs that are designed to build employee engagement and reduce turnover in the market  
·  Partner with Legal to conduct investigations; resolve all employee disagreements, terminations and litigation cases in full compliance with country guidelines

Reward

·  Coordinate with the Cartier HQ the compensation and benefits plans
·  Lead annual compensation review process for Cartier in Switzerland
·  Ensure compliance with the Maison compensation policy (Ranking/Benchmarking)

 

 

 

Career & Succession Planning

·  Lead the organizational talent review process for the market; partner appropriately with HR & business leaders to validate results and plan appropriate next steps.
·  Develop talent strategy based on talent analysis data; incorporate results as part of the Cartier HR Strategic Plan.
·  Build talent pipeline and actively promote and support internal mobility 

Learning & Development:

·  Develop a strong partnership with the L&D team to ensure that trainings & development programs are meeting the needs of the population.
·  Work with L&D department to address developmental gaps following annual performance and organizational talent review processes.
·  Provide assistance as needed for business transformation and change management processes.
·  Oversee on boarding and induction in alignment with L&D team.

  

HR Efficiencies:

·  Partner closely with the rest of the HR team to improve HR Efficiencies and ways of working
·  Partner with Directors to design and optimize the organization and anticipate the future evolution of métiers and business needs.
·  Looking at digital solutions to help us build continuous improvement in our ways of working
·  Articulate key challenges within HR function and develop solutions to address areas of opportunities
