The proposed VIE position is a Sourcing buyer position for Bushings & Bearings segment.
The Sourcing buyer is in charge of defining Segment strategy, selecting and managing suppliers based on cross-functional inputs Engineering, Aftermarket, Quality, Finance, Operations).
The Sourcing buyer drives Purchasing activities in cross-functional product projects since early phases, aiming to deliver committments fulfilling project gates QDCF targets.
The Sourcing buyer works in a process flow where Purchasing roles (Sourcing, Project and Operation) activities are tightly connected through defined handovers.
As Supplier host, the Sourcing buyer ensures collaboration between buyers roles (Sourcing, Project, Operation).
Main activities :
- Market investigation : Potential suppliers available and trend in technologies
- Strategy and Sourcing cases elaborated and presented to the Sourcing committees decision bodies
- Contracts negotiation with the suppliers before handover to Project & Operation Purchasing organizations
- Supplier relationship Management within the Purchasing organization and Management Meetings with Key suppliers
Qualifications :
- university degree in purchasing. Or ingineering with purchasing experience / specialisation
- technical interest
- good communication skills

- negociation skill
- business mindset
- international experience is a plus
- experience in automobile sector is a plus
- proficient in English
