Position description
Materials Management DIP (Demand Inventory Planner) & Refill is a part of Logistics Services and we are now looking for a Refill Analyst. You will be responsible for refill of spare parts to one or more regional warehouses. The responsibility also includes driving and participating in flow planning meetings with dealer facing entities.
Main responsibilities
- Refill of spare parts from central to regional Volvo warehouses
- Meeting targets for availability and turnover rate for your assortment
- Forecasting and planning of future spare part needs
- Participate in the flow planning meetings, together with your assigned regions
- Take an active part in the operational development work within the refill team
- Act on deviations
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions
You will work in a dynamic and international environment. After introduction, you will soon be responsible for one or more regional warehouses. The daily work involves much active communication and development of the entire material flow. You will also work with analyses in order to improve and develop the refill flow.
Background and Key Competencies
- University degree and/or education in relevant field or experience to equivalent level
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience from working within the field of logistics is an asset, e.g. procurement & refill
- Good at building relationships and networking skills
- To be able to effectively communicate to customers and colleagues both oral and written
- Knowledge of MS Office is a requirement with high competence with in Excel
- Knowledge in English, oral and written is a requirement
