Job description

You will be responsible for the development and coordination of Off Premise Trade Marketing activities to maximise the potential of the Red Bull brand in the trade whilst maintaining the brand personality & values. You will help lead the strategy of the Off Premise sales team and enable the execution of that strategy via Key Accounts and Field Sales teams. This includes all means of internal communication, internal coordination between Marketing and Off-Premise sales, POS development and implementation, trial activities and sales analysis. In a nut shell, you will develop and co-ordinate all trade-led marketing activities.

·  Trade Marketing

Develop trade marketing strategies, utilising trade and marketing experience to recommend best trade-led activities.

Recommend and support trade activity proposals with commercial backing, pushing the brand guidelines whilst protecting the brand image.

Create and develop all channels of communication that contribute to the timely execution of Red Bull initiatives at internal, trade or shopper level.

Develop and manage the trade marketing calendar

·  POS Management

Ensure global POS toolkit is used effectively in order to:

adhere to brand guidelines and appropriately represents the brand (e.g. creative and innovative)

meet country needs and objectives by being financially viable

Manage POS material, purchase, construction, inventory and maintenance

Liaise with external suppliers for the creation and development of merchandising and POS tools

Apply strong knowledge of brand, brand personality and brand principles in creation of off-premise trade tools

Ensure national POS is developed only when international material is not appropriate and a clear commercial benefit is recognized

·  Reporting

Primary point of contact for reporting to International Off Premise Trade Marketing teams

Manage all the international requests of data sharing and international tools local implementation

Monthly fill-in of International Dashboard with market data

Organization and follow-up of wave of store audits in local market

Implementation of global tools (for in-store material creation, for elaboration of planograms, for evaluation of promotion efficiency…)

·  Spend Management for Promo Items

Manage spend within approved budgets

Review spend efficacy & ROI of activities

Responsible for the day-to-day management of nationally approved budget

Prepare and attend monthly budget review meetings

·  Project Management

Crafts launch materials for all new products

Develops and shares Best Practices

Develop and manage the trade marketing calendar

Manage any special projects as might come up during the year in the area of sales & marketing

·  Cross Marketing

Through personal and electronic communication - educate, orientate and utilise the brand team to deliver through the line activity in store.

The country Marketing plan should be translated into Off-Premise sales strategy.

Exchange ideas proactively and challenge traditions.

Establish an internal network with all departments necessary for efficient working – Communications, Brand, Sales, Logistics, Finance and special Customer Insight teams.

Define the Perfect Store by channel for your market using the International Model.

Support the alignment across customers and channels in regards to trade marketing activities.

At least 3 years’ experience in FMCG sector in a similar role

· 
Motivation and Team Skills

· 
Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution and competitor activity

· 
Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends

· 
Strategic thinking able to lead the sales strategy

· 
Fluent in written and spoken English

· 
Intermediate level (or higher) in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

· 
Experience managing or developing a Brand

· 
Creative, with an eye for detail, who will not accept second best

· 
Experience managing creative agencies and suppliers

· 

Tertiary level qualification in relevant field.
