Job description

This is the role that dreams are made of! You will be managing our relationship with one of our largest customers, FoodStuffs (both North and South Island). You will be required to forumlate the growth strategy for FoodStuffs, build an execution plan to implement the strategy and achieve the company targets (financial, brand presence and long term sales drivers) across the FoodStuffs stores.

·  Managing customer P&L

Build an annual business plan for FoodStuffs to deliver profitable growth via effective and optimal use of available investments.

Deliver the monthly business plan financial sales volume in serving units across all key accounts.

·  Effective customer engagement

Manage the customers that this role is directly responsible for.

Develop and execute National Account Plans on availability, visibility and communication.

·  Effective in-store activation

Manage the execution in store via the execution team (direct or third party).

Regular value added engagement with the customer.

Agree joint business plan (JBP) and periodic review of the JBP.

·  Ensure robust trade spend management and forecast processes

Ensure compliance to the trade spend management process.

Use strong planning skills to deliver a robust rolling forecast.

Communicate with key stakeholders regarding any change in plans.

·  Execution of Promotional Programs for the customer

Develop and implement National Promotional Programs.

Be responsible for the financial claims and all financial impacts in relation to responsible accounts.

·  Cross Functional Engagement

Work with Category Management to translate key sales data into simple, easy to use tools for the field teams.

Provide assistance to finance team monthly on accruals and reconciliation of actual to forecast spend.

Provide assistance to Operations team monthly on demand plans.

·  Health & Safety

Protect yourself, your fellow workers and any other party from unsafe situations by carrying out your duties in a safe, healthy and responsible manner, in accordance with legislative requirements, and by monitoring the safeness of the workplace.

Your experience includes:

· 
Outstanding sales experience and track record in FMCG.

· 
Minimum 1-2 years’ account management experience

· 
Exceptional negotiation skills, with experiences in seeking ‘win-win; situations

· 
Strong customer relationship management skills

· 
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

· 
Strong planning and project management skills.

· 
Strong financial and analytical ability

· 
Advanced level MS PowerPoint and excel skills.

· 

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
