Job description

Tesco is Red Bulls biggest customer and responsible for 80 million cans per year. Red Bull in Tesco is the leading sports and energy drink brand with 29% market share, however this is dramtically different when comparing small 36% vs. large stores 23%. With over 3000 stores accross multiple formats, your role would be to identify why large stores underperform vs small, and create an action plan to improve performance and increase market share. This internship offers hands-on commercial, analytical and field experience across multiple functions across Red Bull. You will be part of the off trade sales team but work with team such as category, insights, finance, field and directly with Red Bull‘s largest customer to deliver a plan to realise a £6 milllion opportunity. This is a paid three-month internship from June to August. Please apply as soon as possible, applications close on 31st March.

·  INSIGHT AND CATEGORY DATA ANALYSIS

Working with our insights and category team to understand the performance of Red Bull in Tesco by store format

Using Tesco Link to analyse EPOS data to identify trends and differences between large and small stores

Working with Dunhumby to understand customer shopping behaviour and loyalty through clubcard by store format

Identify the target format to improve and quantify the size of the opportunity

 

 

·  FIELD TEAM ENGAGEMENT

Work with the field sales team in stores to understand nuances operationally between large and small stores

Present back internally the store operational process for the journey of the Red Bull can in Tesco

 

·  ACTION PLANNING

Create a targeted action plan on how to improve the performance large stores and improve market share

 

·  PRESENTING

Presenting back the action plan to internal stakeholders to seek support and buy in

Your experience includes:
