Job description

The Distribution Partner Managers (DPM) main priority is developing annual business plans, driving Red Bull initiatives, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through the Distribution Partner (DP). Key responsibilities include: communicating strategic priorities; driving and managing key RB initiatives; ensuring implementation of merchandising standards; developing systems to track and measure KPI execution; monitoring sales/POS progress against business plans; and coaching DP to produce execution excellence.

·  Distribution Partner Management

• Knowledge:

• Guides the Off Premise strategy as the Distributor expert through working knowledge of distributors internal systems and structure

• Understands distributor’s hierarchy and has relationship from the top down (Owner to Managers)

• Develops working knowledge of geographic and demographic areas in assigned geography

• Clear understanding of the person responsible and accountable for tasks or programs within distributorship

• Working knowledge of routing procedures and able to suggest better route to market and/or manpower needs based on distribution and account frequency

• Set and Co-Develops with the DP the annual business plans with regards to organization requirements, distribution, investments, and KPIs

• Secures agreement on necessary subjects and implements monthly scorecard to review progress (distribution build-up by month/channel, organization build-up by month/channel, sales forecast by month/channel…)

• Develops organization model with DP and gains commitment against specific personnel structure to drive Business Plan

• Consistently communicates with ownership and top management to guarantee alignment

• Implements systems to Track and benchmark DP against key initiatives/goals

• Holds DP accountable for data submission into RB systems to ensure accurate and timely information

• Maintains strong working knowledge of all relevant Red Bull systems

• Responsible for Distributor claims, Inventory management, and warehouse hygiene.

• Drives and Coordinates meetings with the DP to explain and implement Red Bull business strategies and initiatives

• Develops communication process to ensure proper alignment and understanding of strategies and goals

• Provide on-going feedback relative to DP performance against objectives and KPIs

• Monthly or Quarterly or Semi-annual Business reviews with clear next step outcomes and priorities for next reporting period

• Execute planned programs, promotional and merchandise across customers across channels by motivating and driving incentive programs.

·  Field Sales Management

• Guides the DP to deliver Red Bull in store standards in MT and effective GT Trade Activations through:

• Developing the capabilities of the Field Sales and Merchandising Force with regular training, briefings and coaching in accompanied field visits(Hands on Approach)

• Developing Sales Books and training to guarantee Sales Reps clearly understand merchandising standards (i.e. product flow, SKU priorities by channel, display merchandising, pricing, etc.)

• Setting and monitoring KPIs & incentives for the DP’s sales & merchandiser force & management

• Usage of Field Sales reports and store audit data to drive effective in store standard focus and DP Rep focus.

• Ensure right pricing across store formats and channel

• Proactively uses Out-of-Stock analysis to ensure proper merchandising personnel is in place

• Controls the Distributor in the field of Red Bull distribution build-up by SKU in all channels

• Tracks if all the outlets are covered by sales personnel according to distribution and sales plans

• Encourages the expansion of outlets coverage and ensure targets fulfilment of the Numeric Distribution and Penetration by SKU by Channel by Distribution

·  POSM and Coolers Placement and Management

• Controls the achievement of company targets on POS and coolers placement in the GT channel. Works alongside Off Premise Manager to ensure perfect placement and execution of POSM and coolers agreed with KA

• Keeps DP abreast of any new POS items and applicable allocation/timing

• Manage DP warehouse inventory of POSM and ensure accurate reporting of stored and placed POSM and Coolers between HQ and DP and customers

·  Red Bull In Store Execution Store Standards

• Responsible for setup/maintenance/execution of Perfect Store across all Off Premise channels including distribution, price and promotions, POSM placement and shelf enhancement projects:

• Audit: Responsible for management/analysis/ of the Perfect Store Audit and to drive action with the DP.

• Key point of contact with HQ for all Prefect Store projects

Outstanding sales experience and track record in Consumer Goods industry (Bev. Preferred) , +5 years

Distributor and Supplier experience preferred

Excellent negotiator and influencer

Highly numerate and analytical

Strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles

University Degree (business, marketing or similar).
