The Red Bull Air Race World Championship is the ultimate motorsport series in the sky and has been the driving force in aerial sport since 2003, thrilling fans and leaving them wanting more. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an ambitious Technical Manager (m/f) for our Aviation & Sports Team. As Technical Manager, you are leading the Red Bull Air Race aircraft fleet control and you are filling the role of the Technical Steward during our Championship events.

· Management of Technical Regulations
In this function, you´ll be leading the development of the Red Bull Air Race Technical Regulations, OM-E. Furthermore, you´ll be the responsible Technical Steward during the Championship events and you will taking care of all technical verifications as per OM-E.
· Technical Fleet Management
As Aviation Technical Manager, you are responsible for the maintenance and airworthiness control of the Red Bull Air Race fleet (Media Planes, Test Planes and Challenger Class Airplanes). This will include to manage external support and to organize spare parts .
· Team and Partner Management
Furthermore, you will coordinate the Red Bull Air Race Technical Team and act as main contact point for external partners, suppliers.
Your experience includes:
(proven performance in)
·
At least 10 years of experience as certified technician working on aerobatic and experimental (US-registered) planes as per required education and qualifications
·
Familiar with current Aviation International rules (ICAO, FAR, EASA/JAR)
·
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and / or service teams / centers
·
Logistics expertise, CAMO experience and experience in people management
·
Innovative, open-minded, self-motivated, team player
·
EASA part 66 level B.1.2 and C licences, and / or FAA A&P licence (at least 3 years with A&P);
·
Fluent in English
