Job description
For our important customer located in the Lugano area we are looking for a:
PURCHASING MANAGER
Personal requirements:
-Male/Female Time: 100%
-1-5 years of work experience within the food, commodities or financial industry
-Fluent in English (spoken and written), advanced knowledge of German would be a plus
-Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team member and entrepreneurial/independent work ethic
-Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Responsibilities of the position:
-Responsible for buying strategic raw materials for all 12 production sites
-Monitor closely the development on the raw material markets
-Direct interaction with suppliers regarding prices, quantities, conditions etc.
-Respond to last minute inquiries accurately, promptly and efficiently
-General administration of the raw materials and contracts booked
