Consulting - Junior Data Analyst (m/f) 15-COAD-JDAM Others Vacancies Your mission In this role you will participate, for PwC clients in Luxembourg and/or Europe, in the implementation of data analytics projects, in close contact with clients, its technical experts and its business units. Your main responsibilities will include: Analysing the client's needs and requirements; Translating business rules into algorithms with quantitative criteria; Participating in data analytics projects (involving modelling, predictive analysis, big data) and their practical implementation into a platform ; Contributing into the Proof of Concept stage; Support cross-functional teams in building data analytics solutions Performing technological watch related to the data analytics and big data technical domains; Proposing innovative solutions. Your profile University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or IT Technology ; Strong knowledge and capability in Statistics; First work experience (1-3 years) in data analytics is an asset; Experience in the design and implementation of projects involving data analytics and big data; Your experience and your analytical skills allow you to quickly understand a problem, to identify possible solutions and key success factors; Practical experience (hands-on) in the following areas: data analytics platform such as SAS, Oracle, IBM, Hadoop visualization tools: Tableau, QlikView language for statistical computing such as R, SPSS or another structured databases (SQL) tools and script languages for handling and processing unstructured data and big data: NoSQL, Python or other; Knowledge in IT systems administration and IT security is welcome; Excellent computer skills is a pre-requisite; Very strong motivation, analytical and rigorous mind-set; Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; Good team player, capable of working on multiple requests ; Excellent command of English is mandatory. Any additional language is an asset (French, German, Luxembourgish ...).
