WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer who can help identify and creative and groundbreaking solutions. You will be a member of a team, working with the brightest engineers, focusing on the development and integration of supplier tools, applications and services.

We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, and UI/UX design.

Are you a self-starter, detail oriented, an out of the box thinker, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills? You should have 3+ years of software development and experience with application integrations. This is a full-time position based in: Cincinnati

YOUR ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

-Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

-Lead individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

-Design software systems that collaborate with humans, machines and other software.

-Demonstrate API capabilities, minimizing dependencies on CLI, driving the use of network functions virtualization / virtualized network functions capabilities

-Collaborate closely with peer organizations helping to influence, guide and direct technical outcomes; ensuring mutual strategy alignment.

-Provide training and technical leadership to all key stakeholder organizations ensuring successful knowledge transfer, and the ability to be self-sufficient in support of their primary roles.

-Good temperament, ability to lead stressful situations. Ability to provide customer-facing support in a professional manner.

OUR DESIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

Technical experience, certifications, and knowledge of the following technologies, protocols and services is helpful:

Experience with networking software (e.g., TCP/IP, IP Tables, NAT, Deep Packet Inspection, IPV4, IPV6, routing protocols, etc.).

Working knowledge of Linux/Unix including provisioning, troubleshooting, shell scripting, tuning and optimization (Amazon Linux, Redhat, centos, etc...)

Familiar with cloud services such as Amazon/Azure/GCP

Experience with cloud automation frameworks and CI/CD deployment is a plus (GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, etc...)

Understanding of integration between various technologies with REST/SOAP APIs and CLI interfaces

Understanding Client/Server digital certificates, SSL/TLS, and PKI.

Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance including ITIL, PCI, and SOC

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED?

-BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

-Development experience in Python, Go, C or C++, with Object Oriented and algorithmic experience.

-Legal authorization to work in the P&G site location as specified in job posting. P&G will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

-Must be willing to work from a Procter and Gamble office location
