PhD Summer Internship - Applications of GANs with VR

Are you passionate about solving tough challenges? How would you like to use your analytical skills to find creative solutions for consumer's everyday problems? If this sounds like fun, we would love to have you join us as a Summer Intern joining our Data & Modeling Science team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in Computer Science or similar field with advanced machine learning knowledge and experience developing virtual reality applications.

This project will involve the following:

Applications of GANs along with Virtual Reality within R&D.

Working with deep learning experts you will apply knowledge of VR to expand the scope of GANs to bring to life textures as part of the design process (eg. packaging and 3D material design). This internship will enable you to work on business relevant applications of these new methods.

Qualifications

Requirements (Experience/Skills ) for the role:

- Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

- Be familiar with advanced machine learning methods including deep learning

- Have experience developing virtual reality applications

- Be fluent in Python and familiar with either Tensorflow or PyTorch

- Be excited to explore new methods and applications

- Experience with GANs a plus

- Experience with conducting independent and collaborative research projects.

- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
