Digital & Data Cloud are the backbone of Amiens innovation journey demanding continuously higher capacity and reliability to our server/systems infrastructure.

We are looking for a Network Engineer/Information Technology to join our Amiens IT/OT department.

The role is a dynamic mix of mastery and management to be able to handle the overall Amiens site IT and OT masterplan and business continuity. You will be troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving problems, as well as, designing the best in class solutions to maintain and improve our systems and infrastructure to deliver future product initiatives and site growth. Considering the role complexity and challenging environment, previous experiences in the industry in similar role is desirable.

Your responsibilities:

• Resolve hardware and software obsolescence with resilient mitigation plan continuing the journey of increasing capacity and availability of the site network infrastructure and systems
• Benchmark, design and execute best in class solutions for site network and site systems
• Manage external partners/suppliers and internal peers to define and execute strategies to deploy solutions with no impact on productions
• Plan and execute disaster recovery operations and data backups (business continuity plans) when required to increase system availability of the systems
• Request and manage budgets to enable project execution
• Ensure effective communication to internal & external customers

Qualifications

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge on Linux (Desktop/Server) and Windows Client/Server and Windows Domain
• Advanced knowledge in network infrastructure principally working with Cisco
• Knowledge on Virtualization with utilization of VMWare
• Knowledge of Network Protocol such as TCP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, SMTP, SNMP, NTLM/Kerberos, etc.
• Knowledge on back-up and monitoring systems such as Veeam and Nagios

Additional Characteristics:

• Project management skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Industrial Network Protocol such as Rockwell CIP
• Software Development experience (methodology of solution development workflow)
• Data Base administrator (MS-SQL preferred)
