Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you use creativity and resourcefulness to take on everyday problems? From conception to presentation of the finished plans, you will be involved in all stages of the design process for new consumer goods as a R&D Engineer.

At this job, you will have the option of working in these exciting areas:

Product Development Engineers provide leadership and expertise to translate consumer needs into effective product designs and consumer driven innovation strategies. We utilize quantitative and qualitative modeling tools to define what a consumer requires and the technical requirements necessary to win in the market. We are responsible for the progression and oversight of electrical, mechanical or chemical based product designs.

Process Development Engineers craft the design, development and delivery of state of the art manufacturing systems, processes and equipment to support P&G's innovation strategy. Our Process Development group develops high end computer modeling, empirical modeling, process/equipment design and start up of breakthrough manufacturing technology concepts in both experimental and commercial scale.

Material Development Engineers develop 'new to the world' raw material technologies to achieve unmet consumer needs and P&G manufacturing requirements at target cost and quality on a global, strategic basis. Modeling builds the technical understanding needed to specify material requirements and drive daring advantage.
Packaging Development Engineers lead creative packaging development that provides excellent functional performance and delightful package shelf appearance while supporting environmentally balanced and/or responsible packages. Engineers in this field work with 3D digital modeling, material science experts and industrial designers to design and deliver unique packages.
Modeling and Simulation Engineers own the creation and application of mathematical models which are required to develop creative new products and processes. M&S Engineers should be able to work with a team to define the model requirements and then lead the development and execution of a modeling program which is consistent with the business challenge, to model new and existing products or processes.

Qualifications

· Working towards a BS/MS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering (We will also consider other engineering degrees)
· Overall G.P.A. or 3.0 or about on a 4.0 scale

Just so you know:
· Our Co-ops are paid assignments typically lasting 12 weeks while you work side by side with full time research technicians to gain experience in the field. Successful co-ops could receive full time offers after graduation.
· Our co-op assignments have flexible start dates (Summer start is helpful).
