HR Supervisor

As a HR Supervisor you will work in the People and Culture (Human Resources) team

Your working hours would be part time Monday to Friday 2pm-6pm, 5 days a week, 20 hours per week.

Your job responsibilities would include:
-Reporting to HR Managers
-Working as part of the store’s HR team (People & Culture) providing front line support to colleagues and leadership team
-Day to day administration of computer systems (Payroll, and Workforce management programs)
-Working in a private and confidential environment
-Assisting employees with basic HR queries
-Running new starter inductions and dealing with new employee paperwork
-Liaising with shop floor managers/supervisors and senior store management 
-Keeping employee record filing up to date (both computer and non-computer based)  -monitoring probationary reviews, absence levels, training records
-Dealing with reference requests, pay issues, information requests
-Supporting with staff training
-Writing outcome letters from meetings
-Conducting reviews with staff
-Note taking in investigations and disciplinary meeting
-Any ad-hoc responsibilities given to you by HR Managers

Ideally you would be CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification, but this is not an essential requirement.

Full training will be provided for the role.

It is also desirable that you have HR experience; however this is not an essential requirement.
A good level of computer literacy is essential and proficiency with Microsoft computer packages (including Excel and Word is required).

You must be able to display a passion for HR and a basic understanding of HR process.

This position has an hourly pay rate of £9.09 per hour and is a 20 hours a week contract.
