Job description

Mission:

The Human Resource Coordinator role provides essential support to both the Troy HR team, as well as the regional Vice President of Human Resources. This role supports all functions within HR with all administrative activities and directly supports recruitment, as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Provide general HR administrative support to Troy HR Team, VPHR, all Troy employees and regional HR managers at various operations sites  as needed
·  Coordinate candidate interviews, hiring needs and paperwork, along with ensuring all pre-hire screenings have been completed and the candidate is ready to start their role
·  Assist with the onboarding of new candidates including the ability to conduct new hire orientation
·  Conduct recruiting when needed on various roles within the organization
·  Manage weekly HR metrics on staffing
·  Weekly review of the recruiting system to ensure 100% compliance
·  Assist with benefits administration items – scanning, mailings, correspondence, etc.
·  Book travel and process expenses for HR leadership team
·  Manage meeting agendas and coordinate events with key stakeholders and participants
·  Plan and management event coordination for local campus as needed
·  Create organizational announcements for new hires and promotions within local site and review all for Americas
·  Complete invoicing for various vendors and ensure payments have processes
·  Assist with consolidating monthly reporting
·  Complete filing and ensure compliance for such items as activity notices, etc.
·  Other duties as assigned

 

Profile

 

Personal Background

·  Bachelor’s Degree (Human Resources, Business, or Liberal Arts Preferred)
·  Experience in manufacturing or staffing industry preferred
·  1-3 years of relevant experience

 

Job Technical skills

·  Experience in planning, organizing, and coordination in various areas such as travel, event planning and logistics, as well as working with vendors and external organizations
·  Knowledge of staffing and hiring processes within a corporate setting
·  Ability to manage multiple projects and processes while supporting the day to day operational needs of the local HR team and leadership
·  Experience using Microsoft Office including strong knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
