- Responsible for buying the designated commodities
- Create and implement purchasing strategies of the designated commodities in order to support the global strategic selection
- Analyze and negotiate lowest possible overall costs
- Negotiate yearly costs lowering
- Responsible for tracking of the supplier during the project with an emphasis on the respect of a timetable, quality, costs, the terms of deliverance etc.
- Complete monthly reports
- Attend to the meetings of the selection committee
- Attend and help with the supplier audits
- Support the Groups sites during a serial production/problems with suppliers
- There is a lot of traveling involved

 

Profile

- English – fluently

- University degree (technical or economical field)
- Relevant experience in purchasing area (automotive)

- Experience with negotiation and communication with the supplier
- Flexible, active, assertive, takes initiative
- High stress resistance
- Willing to travel
