PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Material process specialist is part of the Materials Department and is following the new materials/new processes from the prototype phase until entering in normal production.

Collaborate with compounders/product development engineers for the material development and defines the process to produce these materials.

He/she is also responsible for the approval of new machineries from the process point of view.

He/she must have a close collaboration with departments as Quality, Maintenance, Production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Responsible for the development of new materials processes and prototypes
· Contribute to the process of raw-materials homologation, cooperating with all the involved function
· Organize and follow industrialization tests on materials
· Evaluate tests results according to targets
· Identify new solutions or developing improvements in the processes
· Organize start-up activities for new machinery
· Support Quality/Maintenance/Production to solve problems in normal production
