The Direction of European Affairs in Pernod Ricard has the following missions,
- To defend the interests of the Pernod Ricard Group towards authorities, relevant institutions and professional associations in the European Union particularly regarding relevant EU policies, including alcohol and health policies;
- To support affiliates in promoting the interests of the Pernod Ricard Group towards the local authorities and relevant national professional organizations in the 28 Member States of the EU and neighboring countries;
- To support the deployment of the Pernod Ricard S&R policy and initiatives in Europe, in particular the program Responsible Party
Context of the Job :
In order to strengthen the implementation and follow-up of the alcohol & health policies and S&R activities in Europe, the Direction of European Affairs is looking for a project manager
- VIE
Main purposes of the job and Key Responsibilities
Assistance on project(s)’ management in the field of sustainability & responsibility (Example
- a program called Responsible Party) (50%)
- Development of the strategy of the program(s)
- Assessment of the needs for the programs
- Planification of the tasks
- Management and coordination of the relationship with the partners
- Development of the communication tools and of the communication around the program towards the public but also the European institutions
- Monitoring and reporting on the implementation
- Assistance on the relationships with the suppliers
- Management of the budget of the programs
Assistance to EMEA affiliates on sustainability and responsibility and public affairs/alcohol policy (40%)
- Redaction of the CSR/alcohol policy newsletter
- Assistance on the external and internal reporting (European organizations and internal tools)
- Assistance to support affiliates in Europe and Africa on health issues
Organization of corporate events (internal and external) (10%)
Qualifications:
- Legal, political science, communication, economy, license or masters-level education or equivalent experience
- Initial working experience (traineeship, etc) in international company, national / EU trade associations, or national /EU governmental departments of EU institutions.
- Social responsibility project management experience is suitable.
- Fluent in English; French or other language is suitable.
- Good knowledge of and insights into the European and International political environment
- Good communication skills
- A team player with good capability for developing personal networks
- Flexible and discreet
