Main Purpose
- Champagne Brand Ambassador will represent Mumm and Perrier-Jouët (MPJ) in all touch points (internal company teams, consumers, clients, press...)
- Field based, conducting the MPJ mentoring program, building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting implementation of all promotional activity & events, supporting implementation of local MPJ brand strategy
- Office based, supporting local brand team and sales force in key activations for the brand
Overall responsibility
Represent MPJ as brand ambassador. Support the brand team in planning, testing, implementation, and evaluation of wine and spirits field / brand development activities including: image building; product introduction; identification of commercial opportunities for the brand
KEY TASKS: (Including decision making authority as agreed with line manager)
1. Brand education
- Educate PR sales force ensuring comprehensive understanding of the categories, brand’s specificities& key differentiating qualities
- In cooperation with sales force, mentor staff in key trade customers
- Conduct tastings / education for groups of target consumers, opinion leaders and press
- Increase share of mind for MPJ brands amongst PR employees & key brand stakeholders
2. Business and brand development
- Build and manage relationship with selected key customers in order to deliver incremental business locally
- Build database and nurture business to consumer and business to business contacts building loyalty, advocacy and sales.
- Implement consumer and trade promotions in line with global guidelines
- Coordinate clients/consumers/press visits to MMPJ Houses and MMPJ Brands representatives visits in market
3. PR support
- In cooperation with Marketing and PR Departments, identify PR opportunities suitable for MPJ brands in line with their communication platform
- Ensure media coverage through brand representatives’ presence (Cellar master, MPJ representatives, company management) or self-involvement in appropriate cases
4. Advocacy
- Develop relationships, liaise and influence key media, industry, distributor, trade and other organizations that can play an instrumental role in building brand reputation and advocacy of our brands
- Explore opportunities amongst the high net worth individuals and their social set
5. Reporting to Pernod Ricard Sweden
- Report MPJ brands and competitor’s monthly activities with recommendation
- Be the eye and the ear of the market by analysing trade/consumer insights
- Follow Price analysis and sales performance within a defined competitive set

Knowledge
Wine Specialist background (e.g. Master of oenology, Sommelier). Importance of being credible among Swedish sommelier community, which will be the key “target”.

Profile
- Master Degree
- International experience (working abroad)
- French: fluent, English: fluent, Swedish is a plus
- Ability to work in a luxury environment
- Down to earth and self-controlled
- Extremely outgoing, sociable personality
- Excellent presenter with controlled communication
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude, flexible, engaged
- Ability to show initiative, creativity and entrepreneurial skills
- Reliable & Hard working
- Ability to adapt to different audiences (from sales force to High-end consumers)
- Integrity and ethics (responsible alcohol consumption and behaviour)
- With experience in champagne, and as much wine “technical” experiences (vs. wine business experience)
- Should be very open, social and easily bond with people
- Good communication skills
- Convincing/confident
