Fancy joining the PepsiCo family? We are currently recruiting for a Shift Technicians to join our Walkers facility in Leicester.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·  Provide technical expertise in the support and delivery of electrical and mechanical solutions across site.
·  Work on a continental shift pattern alongside the manufacturing teams to support planned and reactive maintenance .
·  Deliver continuous improvement actions through root cause analysis.
·  Responsible for driving compliance with the site's key performance indicators to improvereliability, efficiency and performance of plant equipment.
·  Demonstrate the ability to work in accordance to current legislation and company policies . (i.e. Site Health and Safety Policy and compliance with Food Safe Standards.)

Package Offered

·  This shift based role comes with a salary of £44,750 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance).
·  You would be working on a continental shift pattern; 4x12 hrs shifts per block of a 4 on 4 off pattern (average of 42 hours per week).

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
- Approved Industrial 4 year Engineering Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3.
- BTEC HNC in a relevant electromechanical discipline.

Critical Experiences
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines, ideally from within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- 17th edition and C&G 2395 is preferred.
- A good knowledge of PLC control systems, including programming, maintenance and fault finding and resolution is preferred. (Ideally, experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC'S, Device Net and Control Net).
- Familiarity with computer software (word, excel, etc) and knowledge of computer maintenance planning systems (MP2 or SAP) would also be advantageous.
- Proven problem solving capabilities.
- Good influencing, presentation, communication and decision making skills.
Working at height, manual lifting and ability to work in confined spaces is also a prerequisite of this role.
