Poste et missions:
You will collaborate together with the Group Long Term Research Dpt. And Business Unit Bread Improvers during an exciting development project in the world of baked goods.
Your mission & key tasks:
- New formulation & prototype creation of lab / production samples to be applied in baked goods together with our Lab Team & Engineering Team (Process Upscaling).
- Suggest, organize and carry out baking trials to test the impact of these prototypes on bread making in collaboration with our Test Baking Team.
- Follow-up, together with the engineering / production team, on a pilot production process (process optimization) and test these samples in the final application.
- Assist the Product Management Team and prepare & organise internal & external evaluation sessions with international demonstrators and customers in different segments of the business.
- Report and present on regular intervals during team meetings & information sessions
Profil:
You are running a bachelor or master study in Food Science, Food Technology or related studies;
You are eager to learn more about R&D, formulation / processing and industrial upscaling in an applied research environment;
You are dynamic, hands-on and proactive;
You have good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills;
You’re sincerely interested in the bakery, patisserie or chocolate world;
You are fluent in French and English;
Having a first experience in a food industry is a plus;
You are looking for a 9 months duration (or even more) internship, based in Brussels, Belgium.
