about the role

Proactively support Enterprise Account Managers and Senior Account manager/Senior Account Director and local or Regional Managers in the sale of Orange Business Services and to further support sales in the areas of ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving Company targets, and providing quicker resolution to problems and queries within designated region.
As an Account Associate, contribution to selling is done primarily via phone selling in a designated region or in accordance with an assigned customer list.
Be focal point for quotations, evaluations, loans, customer requests and day-to-day account activities in order to maintain and enhance strong customer relationships.
Follow up on all Sales Leads from Telemarketing Campaigns, Partners, Seminar Activities and named target accounts.
Document all account activity on Sales Databases. (START)
Order entry into GOLD in support of account management as required
Track and ensure completion of Disconnect orders
Work with Billing and Accounts Receivable to resolve invoice and DSO issues
Through project lists and regular updates keep management aware of all business opportunities
Undertake any other tasks, which maybe required by Orange Business Services to further Sales Process.
Sell by phone – proactively seek sales under ‘Small Business Guidelines’
Prospect and Target Nominated Accounts – (including account qualification, appointments setting, follow up project closure).
Maintain, target and grow existing account base for Orange Business Services
Promote and organize external Account Manager activity within assigned Account (min 9 appts/wk)
 

about you

Ability to:

Desirable:
¦ Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant field (or equivalent)
¦ Internship in a sales or marketing organization, preferably technology or software
¦ Membership in related professional organizations
¦ Certifications /accreditation in relevant areas
 

additional information

3 to 5 years experience in selling and relationship management within multi-national companies
Experience supporting and selling communications solutions and value add services
Experience selling to, and management of, customers with managed services in the areas of WAN/LAN, Hosting, Messaging, Security, VoIP, infrastructure management, mobility, outsourcing/out-tasking
Understanding of the industry sector and key customers in that sector inclusive of related strategies and business challenges
Recognized for consistent sales performance or job performance excellence
