Job description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

About the position: Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer requirements. Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Competent in at least one product or technology area. Ability to travel as required.

Education and Experience Required :

·  Min 2 years of experience as a tester preferably with a professional services firm
·  Bachelors Degree in CS/IT/EE or MCA or related equivalent professional qualification.
·  Good experience with testing applications/application interfaces, Cognos reports, database testing (Oracle,SQL*Server), Multiple platforms (UNIX, NT/2000/XP), Multiple Programming Languages ( C++,ASP.net ,VB.net, JAVA, C#, SOAP,XML ,web services technologies, ReportNet, PL/SQL). .Net Framework knowledge.
·  Ability to propose and implement integration testing methods
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to work as part of a team
·  Desirable knowledge on Agile and Automation.
·  Experience of customer interaction
