Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

You will be among the earliest adopters of cutting-edge data technologies and features, working directly with infrastructure teams. You will increase efficiency of engineering teams, hundreds of co-workers, and customers.

PSR is hiring for the following

Performance engineering professionals who can analyze/root cause complex performance, scalability and reliability issues in quick time for various products hosted on Cloud.

Requirements

· Preferred Qualifications: BTech or MTech degree or equivalent

· 3 to 8 years of experience in performance engineering with at least 2 years in fixing performance and scalability issues like response time and throughput issues as well as optimizing the resource usage

· Proficiency with Java, python or Scala will be helpful to automate manual effort in PSR engineering in production and lab environments

· Knowledge of Public Cloud technologies

· At least 2 years of working experience with Linux/Unix systems
