Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.




Role Summary: Qualifications and Special skills

Qualification:

·  Possess B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BS degree with minimum 75%
·  Possess a minimum of 0-2 years of software engineering or related experience

· Good communication and problem solving skills

· Enthusiastic to work for product development.

· Did not sit for an interview with us in the last 6 months.

Skills

· Required Skills: Object Oriented Principles, Java/J2EE or C/C++,

· Optional: JavaScript, AJAX, JSON HTML, XML, JQuery, Rest API

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

· Understanding Application Servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere Application Server and various DB

· Good understanding of JavaScript base Tool kit/ libraries (Oracle Jet, Knockout (js), RequireJS, etc..)

· Good understanding of scripting languages like RUBY, Python.

Brief Posting Description

1. Own the support and maintenance for existing as well as new and enhanced features/functionality as they pertain to the deployment of Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne products.

2. Work with our Global Support Center, Field Consultants and Customers to assure that our customers successfully implement and utilize our products. Collaborate with other development teams, synthesizing input to deliver fast and innovative solutions to reported issues with our products.
