Background in marketing, communications or journalism
Main Responsibilities
Content and Engagement:
• Coordinate and implement the existing enterprise-wide social media program
• Develop and curate brand awareness social content and generate inbound traffic
• Coordinate the enterprise-wide content (editorial) publishing calendar (using publishing tool) to ensure steady stream of relevant and meaningful social posts for target audiences
• Monitor, reply or assign tasks as needed to all interactions on social media platforms such as direct messages to answer customer queries and comments
• Identify and monitor external social media influencers such as bloggers and blog sites
• Work with creative design team, develop engaging social imagery, animations and videos for use on social media platforms
• Curate branded social content and third party industry content in support of the employee advocacy program

Cross-functional Team Engagement:
• Ensure social media programs are integrated in relevant company initiatives – internal communications, sales, marketing and recruiting
• Participate in enterprise-wide content (editorial) calls

Innovation:
• Keep up to date with new social media trends and make evaluations and recommendations to the company presence and participation in social media

Reporting:
• Pull social media platform data and work with team members to make monthly actionable recommendations based on findings of KPIs relating to content performance, community engagement and growth

Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related
• Minimum of 1 year of social marketing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English language. (Other languages a plus)
• Knowledge as a user of, or understanding and passion for social media platforms and mechanism
• Digital marketing agency background a plus
• Experience using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
• Experience of using social media publishing tools like HootSuite and Sprinklr
• Experience of using social media listening tools like Shoutlet/Spredfast, Synthesio, Sysomos and Brandwatch a plus
• Experience of using employee advocacy platforms like EveryoneSocial or Dynamic Signal a plus
• Experience with social media analytics and KPIs and proven ability to provide insights based on these measures a plus
• Knowledge of how to place paid media on social media platforms a plus
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience creating designs for email marketing or digital advertising a plus
• Solid project management skills
• Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams
• Ability to cultivate cross-cultural relationships
• Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly, capable of presenting visual projects to a remote marketing group
• Ability to be productive in demanding, multi-cultural, and virtual work environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Close attention to detail, follow-up, with an extreme sense of urgency and perseverance
• Strong team effort mentality
