Job description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Qualifications :

Looking for an automation engineer who can work for SCM Central QA team. The candidate should have the right aptitude, programming skills (Java), database concepts and SQL, proficiency in at-least one prominent testing tool preferable selenium, exposure to automation challenges, problem solving approach in day to day situations, automation framework development experience, communication, capability to handle multiple parallel tasks.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Major: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.E/M.Tech./MBA from reputed universities.

2. Experience: 2 to 5 years of strong experience in any Automation tools (OATS, Selenium, QTP etc) or other automation testing tools.

3. The ideal candidate should have strong automation experience to script in java with QC/QTP and OATS testing tools as well as who can write and execute manual test scripts.

4. Good understanding of Software Development Processes.

5. Self-starter, able to deliver projects on time meeting high quality standards.

6. Good verbal and written communication skills.

7. Team player with Strong Problem solving and analytical skills.

8. Experience in any of the Oracle SCM Products & Automation of Mobile Applications will be a added advantage

9. Knowledge of fundamental concepts of Database, SQL. Proven ability to work with RDBMS

10. Web-Service and API testing background

- Dynamic Objects handling

- Knowledge of ADF Architecture and objects identifying using x-path, handling i-frames and popups

- Error handling and generate Log files and Reports

- Experienced in developing scripts for multiple browsers.

- Develop Ant Build files and XML files

- Worked on Test-NG Framework.

- Used Data Driven programming, usage of ODBC drivers

- write SQL queries for Data Verification

Candidate will have to perform duties independently under general, minimal supervision. Candidate will be responsible to report new bugs/ issues/ enhance the tools and follow with the concerned teams to bring them to closure. Candidate would need to possess strong analytical skills and out of the box thinking, always coming up with creative ideas, time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
