Job description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Key Objective:
To collaborate with the Fusion QA, Developers and Product Management team to deliver high quality products and make our uptaker happy and succeed.
• Define and establish automation strategy and process
• Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution, validation and maintenance of automated scripts
• Provide SaaS a reliable framework to automate J4S pages in both pure JET and hybrid cases

Responsibilities:
• Hands-on involvement in all phases of product development, including planning, design, implementation, and execution of manual and automated tests, defect logging and verification, and reporting results
• Design and develop automation frameworks and test suites to test Bose products and services, working with Engineering, QA, System Architects, Product Owners, and others
• Understand frameworks, approaches, and test strategies used by peer teams; leverage, extend, and share wherever possible
• Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
• Coordinate with teams across the Software and Systems Group to assure end-to-end verification of functionality across all systems components
• Consistently improve test automation infrastructure and coverage

Qualifications:
• Experience in those technology: Java, JavaScript, familiar with all popular automation tools. (OATs, selenium, QTP etc)
• With development background is much preferred
• Strong knowledge of automation skills/related technologies
• Proven experience developing automated test systems and scripts beyond record and playback, specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc.
• Proven understanding of white box, grey box and black box testing techniques
• Excellent understanding of object oriented design principles
• Experience of source control systems and configuration management
• Possess B.S or M.S. degree, 3+ years' experience designing, implementing, and executing automated tests (3 year is a Minimum)
• Experience utilizing common automation frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Comfortable (proactively) engaging cross-functional different parties( Internal or external)
• Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, perfection seeker.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and mobile applications (iOS and Android) preferred
• Experience with cloud-based distributed applications and / or data processing in the cloud a plus
• Understanding and use of APIs in large-scale distributed systems a plus
