Job description

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle*s products and services.

Assist management with implementation of corporate and local campaign media plans. Apply corporate and local campaign advertising with assistance and guidance. Support efforts to integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns and across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising in line with standard practices and procedures. Assist more senior team members with partner advertising. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 year experience. Basic knowledge of marketing techniques and company wide products. Developing experience and understanding through exposure to production, media buying and campaign involvement.

Qualifications :

Position: Program Coordinator, N.A. Marketing

Location: Onsite at Oracle HQ in Redwood City, CA 94065

** RESPONSIBILITIES **

· Work with North America Marketing team to execute and manage back office marketing activities

· Independent planning and execution of projects related to registration, purchase orders, invoices, etc.

· Process required documentation and system entries/updates on all activities in a timely manner as required within guidelines (contracts, PO's, various Oracle systems, etc)

· Assist in executing marketing activities within assigned budget allocations

· Negotiate and manage contracts with hotels and various vendors.

· Timely and professional communication of project/activity status and updates

· Secure giveaways, signage, supplies as needed and other projects/activity related items and ship as necessary

· Use of multiple Oracle Proprietary systems and other applications (eg. Excel, Word, MRM, Certain, etc) to produce events, communications, reports, etc

· Ability to assist onsite at local marketing events

· Ability to travel less than 10% of the time to various marketing events

** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS **

Minimum 1 year of event management experience; marketing background a plus;

Skilled in project management, organizational and written/verbal communication skills;

Solid understanding of planning, negotiation, and execution of marketing activities;

Must demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor

Strong attention to details

Works well independently with the ability to maintain close relationship with team (team player and a “can-do” attitude)

Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers at all organizational levels (Oracle/Customer executives, virtual teams, vendors, etc)

Proficient in a variety applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Role based in Redwood Shores, CA

Position: reports to Director, North America Marketing while supporting various team members on projects
