Job description

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Job Description:

• As a Oracle Functional Consultant, you will be working on both offshore and onsite client projects which will involve Oracle implementations, Roll-out, Upgrades, Custom modifications, Product Development or Support.

• You will be interacting with client to understand their business processes and map them to the Oracle Products suite.

• You should be able to identify gaps in the solution and design solutions to bridge these gaps.

• You will be responsible for successful implementation of the solution at the customer site. You could be involved in customer presentation sessions, System testing, Business Object testing as well as supporting the customer through User Acceptance Testing.

Desired Profile:

Overall experience of 5-10 Years in Fusion (FIN/SCM) or Oracle Applications 11i/R12 (FIN/SCM) implementations

• Basic Modules knowledge: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables(AR), Fixed Assets(FA) & Cash Management (CM), Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Project Billing, Project Costing

• Desired Modules knowledge: Financials Accounting Hub (FAH), Project Accounting (PA), Lease Management

• Hands on implementation experience on Oracle Financials/Supply Chain/ PPM

• Should be ready to Travel onsite on Short/ Long term assignments. The role expects at least 80% travel in a year.

• Excellent Communication & Client Handling skills.
